1/8/2003 The Top 10 page has been updated with links to directors and films to the imdb.com web site and some newcomers have found its way into the list.  In addition, two films have dropped from the list as well, Thin Red Line (1998) by Terrence Malick and Pianist (2002) by Roman Polanski.  The two new films on the Top 10 list are Ladykillers (1955) by Alexander Mackendrick and Lord of the Rings (2001, 2002, 2003) by Peter Jackson that has once again found its way back into the list.  The reason for the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy on the list is that it is considered by Cinematica.org as one film cut up in three acts.
