Willard is a remake of the film with the same title from 1971, however, the second time around they managed to polish and make the film more engaging. Willard (Crispin Glover) is a young eccentric man who has lived with his parents his whole life and who is working in his departed father's ex-company. In addition, Willard is frequently psychologically tormented by his boss and is often hassled by his dying mother to find a girlfriend. When the mother asks Willard to eliminate the rats in the basement he catches one for which he feels empathy for and he saves the rat. This is the beginning of Willard's first friendship and it is about to change Willard's view of life. Willard is a creepy film, which will engage the audience for the duration of the film. |
