UNINVITED (2002)

Uninvited is a diligent story about Jeong-won, who has his wedding day rapidly approaching, which he is frequently reminded about by his fiancé.   This causes Jeong-won to be apprehensive and additional stress is added to his life as he must frequently face new deadlines through his work as an interior decorator.  One late evening on the way home with the local train he almost forgets to get off as he dozes off and he is surprised by his fiancé who has installed new lights in his kitchen.  The following day he hears on the news that two young girls were murdered on the same train which he traveled on the night before.  This becomes the beginning of a nightmarish revelation that takes place in both his sleep and daily life as the ghosts of the two young girls begin to haunt him.  Uninvited is a subtle horror film about strangers and our connections with those we do not know as well as the impact that these strangers could have on us.  In the end, Uninvited offers a pretty good cinematic experience as it is developed around multiple themes.
