|
Remember the Titans takes place in socially segregated Virginia where change is forced upon those who go to and interacts with the T.C. Williams High School where some have to give up some of their self proclaimed rights in order to reach a far superior goal. Coach Yoast (Will Patton) loses his head coaching job due to integration of the public schools to Coach Boone (Denzel Washington). However, Coach Boone recognizes the injustice that is brought upon Coach Yoast, and he invites him to coach the defense. Together they try to overcome the race struggle that has been fought in the US for the last 110 years and bring a team together to win football games in an extremely hostile environment. |
