PHOENIX (1998)

Phoenix is about a police officers that often are forced to flirt with the boundaries of the law where they sometimes cross the boundaries in order to maintain the law.  Ray Liotta's character, Harry, often flirts with the boundaries of the law in order to achieve social responsibility and moral right.  Nevertheless, Harry is human and he gets pleasure from gambling, which has resulted in a large gambling debt with a bookie.  As a consequence to his debt, he gambles more and gets a larger debt, which snowballs.  Phoenix is a fascinating story that engages the audience, but some awkwardness in the story is presented through the criminal environment.
