This is the fifth film after a number of humorous films by Lasse Åberg as the nerdy Stig Helmer Olsson. In Hälsoresan (Health Trip) Stig has become a couch potato after a devastating divorce and in his now sedentary lifestyle is gorging on chips, hot dogs, and other junk food. This has resulted in Stig gaining a large amount of weight so his overworked Norwegian friend Ole Bramserud suggests that they go on a health trip where they can recuperate and lose weight. Hälsoresan is not of the same caliber as Charter Trip I & II, S.O.S.: Swedes at Sea, or the Involuntary Golfer, which all are better comedies. Nevertheless, Hälsoresan is an entertaining film with lots of Swedish humor. |
