A remake of the film "Queen Christina" is about to be done in Hollywood and they are looking for a Swedish actress to take the part that Greta Garbo once had in the film. The ten actresses who auditioned for the part are anxiously anticipating an answer from America as to whether they have gotten the part or not. Meanwhile, they have to try to cope with daily life and the jobs that they currently have and the audience is presented with an opportunity to view the ten actresses throughout the day before the announcement of who got the part as Queen Christina. The end result is that Gossip is a rather tedious and choppy story that does not fulfill the expectations of the excellent cast. |
