| FAMILY SECRETS (2001) | |
|
|
Family Secrets takes place in the 1970s in Sweden when the movie Taxi Driver was displayed in the local theaters and the Sex Pistols were known for on stage sexual exploitation. During this time period, the audience is provided with an opportunity to follow the happy Bendricks family over a weekend although what is seen is not what the audience would think to be happy. It seems like the Bendricks have problems with the foundation of their house as well as with relationships within the family. Family Secrets is an intelligent film with a refined story that is served with a great performance by Rolf Lassgård as the father. |
